Tennis Ball Prints with School Paints
You will need:
Paper
Super Tempera Poster Paint with shallow paint trays
Tennis Balls – preferably old ones
Apron, old shirts and paper towels
Let's get started:
Prioritise protecting painting surfaces before starting. Encourage children to wear protective aprons or smocks and ensure supervision, as kids may enjoy throwing the balls.
Pour some paint into shallow trays, using 3 or 4 colours.
Dip the tennis balls into FAS Super Tempera paint. It's advisable not to over-wet the tennis balls to avoid excessive drippiness. However, sometimes, a bit of drippiness can enhance the final artwork.
Dab or drop the tennis balls one at a time onto the blank paper.
Hang the prints to dry.
TIPS:
For better control, consider brushing paint onto the tennis ball.
Cover only one side of the tennis ball.
Opt for clean, bright colours.
Avoid pouring used paint back into the bottles.
Share, enjoy, and have fun!
