Let’s Get Started:
Mix the Bubble Paint – In each shallow tray, mix 2 tablespoons of FAS Super Tempera paint, 1 tablespoon of water, and 2 tablespoons of washing-up liquid. Stir well with a spoon until the mixture is frothy.
Blow the Bubbles – Place a paper straw in the paint mixture and gently blow until bubbles form and rise above the tray. Remind children to blow, not suck!
Print the Bubbles – Quickly place a sheet of paper over the bubbles and press lightly. When you lift the paper, you’ll see the colourful bubble prints!
Experiment with Colours – Use a different tray for each colour, or layer different colours on the same paper for a cool effect.
Let It Dry – Set the artwork aside to dry. Once dry, kids can cut out shapes, make cards, or turn their bubble paintings into a fun collage!
Bubble painting is a great way to explore art through play. It’s messy, fun, and a perfect activity for little hands to create something special. Try it indoors or outdoors and enjoy the magic of bubbles in art!
Tips for Success:
Gentle blowing makes the best bubble patterns.
Use washable tempera paint to avoid staining.
If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water.
Try layering different colours for extra creative designs.
Always use paper straws to be environmentally friendly!
